Alright! As promised, today's post is about fake nails. This was my first time applying OR wearing fake nails. I usually just prefer to paint them myself, but I have to say I really like them. Of course because it was my first time applying fake nails, I was a bit lost on what the best technique was to apply them. I finally figured it out though, and I'm really happy with the results. I actually think they look pretty natural, they fit very well, and I like that they include both a nail glue and adhesive tabs. I used the glue to apply mine, because I thought that would last longer than the tabs. One thing that can be a good or bad thing, was that the glue dried REALLY fast. I actually ended up with nail glue all over my hands :p
These were my nails before I removed my polish
This polish is L'oreal Sexy in Sequins
So I removed my polish and trimmed my nails pretty short, then filed them smooth. I set out the nails in order and took one on a paper towel. I coated it in nail glue then my nail in fairly thick layer of the glue. I sort of lowered my hand onto the nail then adjusted it and held it down firmly for a few seconds. I took some nail polish remover on a q-tip and cleaned as much glue off as I could. So here are the results:
As you can probably see, I did get a bit of bubbling of the glue under my nails, but hey it was my first try!
So I would recommend these nails, BUT I'd also like to say I don't know too much about fake nails so if you're a die hard false nail junkie, I'm not too sure I'd listen to me :) just to be honest with you guys!
So I hope you had an amazing day, stay beautiful!
